Wigton Park

Wigton Park is a lovely recreational area situated to the west of the town and has been in existence since 1923 when the grounds were purchased by the Town Council.

Today it comprises of a playground with modern equipment for children of all ages, three junior football pitches, the bowling club and, of course, lawned  areas and flower beds. A beech tree donated by Prince Charles in 2012 is planted in front of the Dalton Shelter.
